Since June 2007, Marianne has been Web designer and webmaster for our  non-profit organization, North Dallas Newcomers. Our club membership has increased by 15 percent in less than 6 months through contacts made on this website.

We have been delighted at the bright, friendly new image on our site, with Marianne’s inventive use of design, photographs and color. We find the site easy to use, as do our members and any browsers who want information about our organization. The links are clear, easy to use and work well.

Marianne suggested our members write personal testimonials about their experiences with our organization, which we have published in a special Testimonials section as well as here and there on the Web site. I’m sure that has enlivened the space and made it more attractive and informative for possible new members.

She has updated and enhanced photographs to give more life to our group.

Marianne regularly updates our website each month with new information on events, our new monthly calendar and our monthly newsletter.

If we have failed to communicate with her, she always gives us a timely reminder. She also quickly and efficiently fulfils any extra requests we have.

I have known Marianne for 5 years, firstly as a Toastmaster, where she prepared our Toastmasters District 50 Web site and also created a new Web site for our Toastmasters Club -  Fast Forward Communicators. She was great at coming up with snappy text, logos and graphics and delivering efficiently and on time. That was the reason I asked her to undertake this North Dallas Newcomer Web site and we have been very glad we did.

The Web site for Fast Forward Communicators, created and maintained by Marianne Phillips, has been an important tool for our club.

First, it provides good information to help a prospective member understand our club and the purpose of Toastmasters. It also provides great resources for our new and seasoned members.

The design has “eye appeal” and information is easy to find. Since the creation of this website, we’ve seen an increase in the number of inquiries about our club and organization and have added several new members.

Our members love having a central location to find our schedule, membership roster, and templates for frequently used documents. Marianne keeps the information up to date and is constantly suggesting new ways we can use the site to benefit our club.
